Encounter Pentecost is free of charge, but we will take a voluntary collection on the day to cover our costs.
There will be Food Stalls at which you can buy your lunch, but you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
Some of the Stalls will be selling items linked to their work. -
Not for entry to the event itself.
However:
Updates: you can sign up to receive updates as the event gets closer - see button above
Children/young people’s ministry/music workshop: you must pre-book for these on the Children and Youth Ministry page
Volunteers: please visit the Volunteer page and sign up if you can help us - many hands make light work!

They certainly are, with morning and afternoon sessions for children and young people and plenty of things to do at lunchtime - not least taking advantage of our international Food Stalls.
There’s even a park across the road (next to the Imperial War Museum) if you get desperate!
-
We certainly hope that you will - but if for some reason you can’t, you’re welcome to join us for the time(s) when you can.
On the Programme page you’ll find a detailed timetable of what’s happening when and where, to help you make the most of the day.

Yes, what a good idea – this would be a great day to introduce someone to the joy of being a Catholic!
-
In general, yes.
We have accessible toilets and step-free access to all activities except that at lunchtime -
the Spirituality Commission will be in the Baptistry in the Cathedral, which is down a few steps
the short talks will be in the Cowderoy Room, which is upstairs (there is a lift, but there are a few further steps to get there from the Upper Amigo Hall.
If you need more information about this, please email us at southwarkrenewal@rcaos.org.uk

It’s up to you. We are using the Cathedral car park for stalls, so you’d have to find a parking space outside (there are disabled parking spaces on the street in front of the Cathedral). And don’t forget the Congestion Charge.
The Cathedral is well-served by public transport, so it might be easier to come that way - see the Plan Your Visit page. -
There is now a detailed timetable, with locations, on the Programme page as we get closer to the day.
We’ll send you a copy of that timetable if you sign up for updates (see top of page).
We’ll also have lots of signs and (we hope!) volunteers on the day to point you in the right direction.

It’s up to you. There will be a wide variety of food on sale, as well as teas and coffees - but you’re very welcome to bring your own packed lunch instead.
